Artist Keg de Souza shares her knowledge during two hands on evenings of zine-making and illustration using the Rizzeria Collective’s Riso printer. The Riso is a stencil press which prints one colour at a time. All materials provided.

A series of slightly gruesome, large-scale street murals by Tom O’Hern explore the forgotten histories and characters of The Rocks’ past.
This week we are asking you to send us a snap of you in front of your favourite mural. Bonus points if it’s a work of Tom O’Hern.
The winner will be decked in street cool style from Ontisuka Tiger.

Tessa & Karl have an installation out the back of Cleland Bond (look out the back window). Featuring glow-in-the-dark creatures, it features native animals once found around the area. Send us a picture of your favourite green space in Sydney and one word on why you love it so.
This week one winner will receive Onitsuka Tiger goodies which will quickly become something that you oh so love!

Their work sits at the juncture of visual art, dance, sound and performance, and includes elements from humming choirs, to self-help audio guides, large-scale pseudo musicals, and video installations.

Eric Bridgeman’s work about race relations and stereotypes are pasted up around The Rocks in unexpected locations and surfaces. Email us a picture of a weird/absurd/unexpected scene from your life lately. It might be of a sign, an object in a weird context… use your imagination.

As part of Art & About’s Friday night opening party, Primavera 2011 is open late til 8 in The Rocks this Friday, 23 September.
There’s lots of art about: come and join us as we play in Rebecca Baumann’s glittering, rainbow shower of confetti from 6pm at the DFS Galleria building on George Street; take up our latest Artist Challenge and be photographed with Brown Council as part of their work Photo with the Artist; also in The Rocks Square, Eric Bridgeman is showing a special film screening of his work and nearby the Cleland Bond building will also be open late! Phew.
